Now that we have a walkable (if not finished) floor, it's really possible to appreciate the #roundhouse as a space. We've just enjoyed our first meal in this space.

Waking up to bright blue skies in Vermont for Eclipse Day! Hoping they will stay that way… although current forecasts call for high, translucent clouds to come in during the early afternoon. (Which still should be okay for eclipse viewing.) The fun begins around 2:20pm, with totality at 3:26, and then it all ending by 4:30-ish.

Finished watching “Scavengers Reign”; spooky and visually compelling and wonderfully paced, but harsh and unforgiving; not cheery.
Anyhow, it’s early spring and I took some stuff out to the compost which is responding vigorously to the warming trend. Came inside and said “The compost is getting kinda Scavengers Reign”.

I spent the weekend hiking and trail running in the Blue Mountains, NSW, and it was a tale of 2 weather systems. Nothing but fog on day one (first pic), but rewarded with classic Blue Mountains views and blue skies on day 2. Even in bad weather it’s a brilliant place to hike or run. #trailrunning #bushwalking

So this was quite the late afternoon/evening, so glad I repeated this tour... Took a slightly different route than last year, going up some super craggy canyon for a while (pushing/carrying the bike), but well worth it, especially once up and dipping in the 3rd lake (legs only) en route, snow patches still all around, but air temp in the mid-20s... The hike with my friends was a blast! It was pretty warm today (yet another heat record) but I decided to ascend in the shade and go down again on the sun side,which turned out to be a good decision.
Luckily I also didn't felt very sore from yesterday's cycling! The one photo shows what I call "the window". Not sure what you think, but I love this spot.

Hey friends! We just came back from a great hike near #garmischpartenkirchen. We wanted to do this mountain recently but the snow in the upper part was too risky for us.
Today we went there again. Beautiful ascent, nice views. Some spray rain and a slippery, dirty descent. But at the end we even had some sun!
